Because of publishing constraints, not all the pictures you see in this gallery can appear in my book, although they were assembled for that purpose. They are, however, too good for you to miss as the vast majority have never been published before. Make sure you visit regularly as the selection will be constantly expanded. I have made every effort to establish the copyright where this seems appropriate.  Obviously, when I know (or think I know) I have added the rights owner’s name. If you can help where there is uncertainty I should be delighted to hear from you.

The photographs in the gallery that follows, are a priceless insight into Leonard Lord's private life.  They portray him in a light that has never before been illuminated.  They were most generously provided for my book by Lord's remaining relatives. Polite Request: You are welcome to use this and any other material on this site, free of charge, in your club magazine or on your own website.
